Reflecting on a memorable year, Perez reminded fans of the club’s ongoing pursuit of greatness. “It has been a year since we won our fifteenth European Cup at Wembley,” he said.

“This season, we’ve added two more trophies—the European Super Cup in Warsaw and the Intercontinental Cup in Qatar.

That brings our world title count to nine. But you know that at this club, we always want more.”

Speaking at the presentation of the gold and brilliant badges and the 2025 gold badges, Perez expressed full confidence in the squad.

“I am convinced our players will give their all to achieve what would be their third title of the season,” he affirmed. “We are all very excited.”

On Ancelotti and Modric

He also paid tribute to his “beloved Carlo Ancelotti and Luka Modric,” offering words of “recognition and admiration”.

Furthermore, Perez updated members on the progress of the Santiago Bernabéu renovation. “We are entering the final phase of construction,” he said.

“The new Bernabéu will be a global landmark, designed for comfort and safety, and a driving force behind our long-term growth.”

Strength and unity

Over the last 15 seasons, Real Madrid have lifted 57 trophies, 30 in football and 27 in basketball, including six Champions League titles and three basketball European Cups.

Perez described these achievements as part of a shared journey that has brought unforgettable memories.

“We’ve experienced all of this together. With magical and impossible nights like those at the Bernabeu, which will forever remain in our hearts and in the memories of football and sports fans,” he noted.

He concluded by stressing the importance of unity. “Our strength comes from our unity. It’s this unity that has helped us face great challenges and allowed us to build a stable and successful institution.”
