According to an update from journalist Victor Navarro, young talents Diego Kochen and Landry Farre have been invited to train with Barcelona’s first team today.
Interestingly, this session will be the final one before the team departs for their pre-season tour of Asia.
However, despite being part of the training setup, it has been suggested that neither Kochen nor Farre will be travelling with the senior squad for the tour.
This means their involvement seems to be more about gaining exposure and experience rather than being active participants in the upcoming friendlies abroad.
Initially, there were strong indications that Kochen would travel as the team’s third-choice goalkeeper.
The original plan involved leaving Inaki Pena behind in Barcelona so he could finalise his departure from the club. However, the club has now decided to take Pena on the tour instead, leaving Kochen sidelined for the trip.

Furthermore, it is also reported that Kochen has not yet been formally informed if he will remain with Barça Atletic for the 2025/26 season. Still, that appears to be the likely scenario unless new developments occur in the coming weeks.
As for Landry Farre, the young midfielder recently linked up with Barça Atletic after spending time under Hansi Flick’s watch during first-team training.
He rejoined with his fellow reserves Jan Virgili and Juan Hernández as they prepared for the new season with the B team.
While both Kochen and Farre won’t be part of the squad travelling to Asia, this latest call-up is a sign that the club sees promise in them.
More importantly, this could also mean Flick might add the duo to the traveling squad, although it is all speculation for now.
