Flamengo sporting director confirms 30mln pricetag on Wesley

Among Roma’s top targets for this summer is Flamengo fullback Wesley.

The 22-year-old is currently involved in the Club World Cup while Roma and Juventus are battling for his signing.

According to Flamengo sporting director Jose Boto, however, it will not be easy to match Flamengo’s demands for him.

“20 million is not enough,” he told Corriere dello Sport. “We want at least 30.”

“Wesley is ready for Europe. We will see after the World Cup, but we are not obliged to sell him,” he added.

Boto’s words are clear: the Brazilian club is not lowering its demands. And Boto himself confirmed it to Il Corriere della Sera: “Wesley is very, very fast, he attacks well, more offensive than defensive. We are asking for 30-35 million, for now they are offering me 25.”
