Arriving in Belarus last February, Nabil Daouda Natama has found his stride with FK Minsk. The young Burkinabe forward has just been honored with a new distinction.

The 21-year-old striker was named FK Minsk’s Player of the Month for July by the club’s supporters. He received 33% of the votes on the club’s official Instagram account, outpacing his teammates Ilya Dabinets (25%) and Timofey Simanenka (15%).

This accolade is a clear sign of how much the club’s fans appreciate the performances of the former Salitas player.

After 16 rounds of the Belarusian championship, the Minsk-based club sits eighth in the standings with 24 points, just five points shy of a podium finish.

The Burkinabe forward has featured in every league match for his team (16 in total), scoring once and providing two assists. He played a key role in FK Minsk’s impressive 2-0 away victory over BATE Borisov on July 5.
