Lamine Yamal has recently made headlines by becoming the most valuable player in the world, following Transfermarkt’s latest valuation updates.

The Spanish international has dethroned Vinicius Junior to become the most valued footballer in the world, thanks to a brilliant season with Barcelona.

However, when it comes to an extended list of most valuable players in La Liga, Real Madrid still dominate things.

5 Real Madrid players in La Liga’s top 10

In an infographic shared by Transfermarkt, it is clearly shown that there are five Real Madrid players ranking among the top 10 most valued players in La Liga.

These five players include Vinicius, Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde and Rodrygo.

Bellingham and Mbappe jointly rank twice in the overall standings, with a valuation of €180 million – just behind Yamal.

While Bellingham’s valuation has remained stable, Mbappe has seen a valuation increase of €10 million following a brilliant first season at Real Madrid.

Vinicius, on the other hand, has seen his valuation tumble from €200 million to €170 million, no thanks to a poor season at Santiago Bernabeu.

The same goes for Rodrygo as well, whose valuation has dropped €10 million to €90 million. He is ninth on the list of top 10 most valuable players in La Liga, just ahead of Pau Cubarsi.

Federico Valverde, meanwhile, ranks sixth in the list even though his valuation has remained stable at €130 million.

This means Mbappe is the only Real Madrid player on this list to have his valuation increase, which is not a good sign for Los Blancos.

It also serves as a reminder that the club must turn things around under Xabi Alonso next season.
