Two BVB players have been nominated for the Bundesliga "Team of the Season". 42 players from the German top league have been selected, including Black&Yellow players Serhou Guirassy and Nico Schlotterbeck. Fans can vote for their eleven favourites here<\/a> until 19:59 CEST on Sunday 27 April.

The players who make it into the "Team of the Season" will be decided by a jury consisting of a panel of experts (weighting: 30 per cent) which will include Bundesliga legends and selected media partners. Alongside the expert panel, votes from fans will also have a strong weighting (40 per cent). The team captains of the 18 clubs will also have a vote (30 per cent). The selection is being carried out by the DFL in collaboration with EA SPORTS.

The 34th matchday of the Bundesliga will also see the announcement of the "Player of the Season". This will be determined by the fan votes from the "Team of the Season" voting, as well as the club and expert votes.
