Fayza Lamari confirms both Mbappé brothers will leave PSG | OneFootball

Kylian Mbappé’s (25) departure from Paris Saint-Germain has been no secret for quite some time, however, it only became official earlier this month. There is greater uncertainty surrounding the future of his brother, Ethan (17), who is being heavily linked with a move to Lille OSC. The players’ mother, Fayza Lamari, has confirmed that Ethan too will leave PSG.

According to Foot Mercato, Ethan Mbappé is nearing a move to Lille. The midfielder had been in talks with formative club PSG about signing his first professional contract, however, his brother’s departure threw a spanner in the works. Les Dogues are hoping to sign the Frenchman on a free transfer this summer.

Speaking to the press at the end of Kylian Mbappé’s farewell meal on Monday, Lamari has confirmed the impending departure. “Is there any emotion? Obviously. Both of your children are leaving the club. It was seven beautiful years. Those years were magical – Paris is magic,” she said.

Asked about Kylian’s future destination, Lamari then responded, “But you already know, right?” It is expected that Kylian will join Real Madrid upon the expiry of his contract at PSG this summer. Kylian’s farewell meal was held at a restaurant called “La Maison Blanche” – the White House, in English. That in itself is a strong indication of his next destination.
