It’s the final weekend of FPL action and your last chance to grab the points to make the difference possibly clinch league glory.
With the help of the Comparison Matrix, our FPL expert Holly Shand has picked out another three fantasy football sleepers you should be considering for the final weekend of the 2023/24 FPL action.
Who has a favourable fixture? Who is entering the form that could make them, and you, a title winner? Don’t bank on a hunch, let Holly steer you through the statistics behind our picks.
Liverpool have a huge game at Anfield on the final day as they say farewell to manager Jurgen Klopp after almost nine seasons with the club. Defender and vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold is an interesting proposition for this game, at just under 10% owned.
He has eight goal involvements for the campaign: three goals and five assists. He’s shared corner responsibility with Andrew Robertson since returning from injury. Opponents Wolves have failed to score in three of their games since the international break.
Arsenal’s Kai Havertz remains in less than 10% of sides, but with team-mate Bukayo Saka an injury doubt for the final day, the German will be a popular acquisition. He continues to play out of position, leading the line in a side with ambitions of clinching the title.
Havertz recent form has been impressive, with three goals and three assists in the last four gameweeks alone. If Saka’s minutes are limited, then Havertz may also be on spot-kicks. He’s second only to Cole Palmer for fantasy points scored in the second half of the season.
Brentford striker Ivan Toney has had a limited season, having made just 15 appearances due to suspension and injury. In that time he’s accrued four goals and two assists, but remains a mainstay of the Bees side, and on penalties.
It’s always more attractive to back a player with a home game on the last day of the season and this has the potential to be Toney’s final game for the club as he’s heavily linked with a move away in the summer. He’s scored three goals in three starts against the Magpies.
