According to Fabrizio Romano (via VoetbalPrimeur) Napoli are confident that they can welcome Noa Lang to Italy in the short term. The transfer specialist expects PSV to receive a new offer for the left-winger soon.
It is no longer a secret that Napoli want Lang this summer. The Italian champions are negotiating with PSV about a transfer fee of around 30 million euros. “Napoli remains optimistic that it can close the Noa Lang deal”, reports Romano.
The Italian transfer expert expects the Serie A champion to send a new bid to Eindhoven soon. That said, Romano has not made any statements about the amount of that new bid. It seems apparent that Lang is eager to make the move to the top Serie A club.
Last Monday, the Dutch international was still absent in Eindhoven, where preparations for the new season were being started under the leadership of trainer Peter Bosz. Incidentally, Lang was not the only player who was not yet present. The same applied to the now transfer-free Luuk de Jong, who is still in doubt whether he wants to continue in Eindhoven.
