Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has called another ‘here we go’ done Chelsea summer transfer deal this week.

Things have been relatively quiet for Chelsea since they won the Club World Cup just over a week ago now, but even though it’s been quiet, there are some little bits and pieces that are going on.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea start talks to sign Premier League centre back this week!

Striker Nicolas Jackson apparently has his agents in talks with Manchester United at the moment regarding a potential move to Old Trafford for the Blues front man.

And there was also an update put out yesterday on the future of Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and what might happen to him this summer with question marks hovering over his head as well right now.

But in terms of any new potential incomings at Chelsea this summer, we are having to remain patient on what might happen there.

HERE WE GO!

Late on Sunday night, Romano called a ‘here we go’ done transfer deal for Blues centre back Mamadou Sarr to join Strasbourg on a season long loan deal.

Many believed that Sarr was going to be staying at Chelsea this summer to be in the squad under Enzo Maresca this season, but that is clearly not happening now.

Sarr returns to Strasbourg

Sarr was signed by Chelsea from Strasbourg this summer, so for him to be heading straight back there in the same transfer window is all a little bit odd.

As we know, Strasbourg are under the same ownership as Chelsea are under the BlueCo umbrella, so we see a lot of players going between the two clubs whether on loan or a permanent deal.

Sarr signed an 8-year-contract at Chelsea, but you do wonder whether he will even ever end up playing for them or not at this point.
