Fabregas denies Como exit rumours again amid Milan links: “Cannot say anything” | OneFootball

Cesc Fabregas is one of the most exciting coaches at present, and he has been heavily linked with a move to AC Milan.

Despite being backed heavily in the summer, Como have still performed above expectations this year, with many seeing Fabregas as one of the best coaches of the season in Serie A, and even in Europe, considering this is his first role.

So, it is no surprise that he is already being linked to big jobs, especially when taking into account his profile as a player. However, an exit does not seem straightforward, with reports suggesting he wants to stay put.

In his press conference today, Fabregas was once again asked about a potential exit this summer, and once again, he was quite upfront with his reply, as Radio Rossonera relays.

“Journalists always know a lot more than me. I am very calm, and I repeat, as I said last week, I cannot say anything about anything because nothing has happened. Meanwhile, I continue to work with the same energy and strength as always.

“There’s nothing new, if there’s any news I’ll tell you right away. But at the moment, there is nothing.”

Considering it seems the Diavolo are obsessed with the idea of an Italian head coach, it certainly would not be a surprise if this was a genuine reply, rather than a manager being coy with the press, which is often the case.
