Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo is on the radar of multiple Premier League clubs following his outstanding season with the Bees.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank has acknowledged the club’s ‘seller’ identity but emphasised that Mbeumo’s transfer would be ‘expensive’. However, if the right offer arrives, the player may be given the green light to leave.
Manchester United are keen on the Brentford star to bolster their attacking lineup, with the Red Devils’ management reportedly preparing an opening bid for Mbeumo.
Manchester United need more quality on the flanks, and the Brentford star will add goals, flair and pace to the side. The Red Devils are expected to sell Antony, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford this summer, and that could enable a move to Mbeumo.
Mbeumo has 18 goals and six assists to his name in the Premier League this season.
Sources have informed CaughtOffside that competition in England is not limited to Manchester United. Tottenham, Liverpool, and Arsenal are also closely monitoring Mbeumo’s situation. Brentford is seeking a transfer fee in the range of £60–65 million for the player.
Although Newcastle United has identified Mbeumo as their ‘ideal target’, the £60–65 million price tag could complicate the club’s transfer plans. Given that Brentford has a contract with the player until 2026, with an option to extend it for an additional year, the bargaining process is expected to be challenging.

Meanwhile, Arsenal need depth on the flanks as well. They need to rotate key players like Bukayo Saka, and someone like Mbeumo would be ideal. He is well-settled in the Premier League, and he could make an immediate impact.
Liverpool have been overly dependent on Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz in the wide areas. Federico Chiesa has not had ample opportunities to prove his worth. The Reds could use more options in the attack.
Finally, Tottenham will need to replace Timo Werner in the summer. He will leave when his loan deal expires. Richarlison has been linked with an exit as well. It remains to be seen whether they can get a deal for Mbeumo across the line.
