Lazio would like to acquire the services of Napoli striker Giacomo Raspadori, but their pursuit hinges on the fate of Taty Castellanos.
The Argentinian became the Biancocelesti’s first-choice centre-forward this season following Ciro Immobile’s departure last summer.
The 26-year-old had his moments, especially during the early stages of the campaign, while his absence was certainly felt, as his attacking teammates failed to score in his absence.
But as we told you before, Castellanos is far from ‘untouchable’ in the management’s plans. Claudio Lotito and Angelo Fabiani are willing to sell the former Girona striker who has suitors in the Premier League and the Saudi Pro League, but would only consider offers starting from €30 million. This would constitute a decent capital gain for the club.
If Lazio end up selling Castellanos, they only have limited options to replace him, but we can confirm that Raspadori is a profile that is well-appreciated at Formello.

The 25-year-old is a Sassuolo youth product who made the move to Napoli in 2022. Although he scored several vital goals during his time with the Partenopei, he has been a substitute more often than not, so he might be willing to consider a summer exit.
In addition to Lazio, Raspadori is also liked by Inter Milan and Roma, but if he’s going to leave Napoli this summer, he will only do so in favour of a club that guarantees him a prominent role, which shouldn’t be a problem for the Aquile if Castellanos were to be removed from the picture.
