Davide Frattesi has been linked with a late move to Newcastle United, but Inter are unwilling to discuss the future of the Italian midfielder in the final days of the transfer window.

Sources with direct knowledge of the matter tell me that Inter won’t consider Frattesi’s exit in the final days of the summer transfer window.

The summer session ends on Monday, September 1, and even if Frattesi has been linked with a move to Newcastle United, I can confirm that Inter are unwilling to discuss the Italian’s transfer.

It’s not about the formula or the transfer package; the point is that Inter won’t discuss Frattesi’s exit.

Similarity between Frattesi and Buongiorno

This transfer speculation bears resemblance to that of Alessandro Buongiorno, who was linked with a move to Inter a year ago, when everyone knew he’d join Napoli.

Inter started the season with a 5-0 win over Torino on Monday and will host Udinese on Sunday night in the second league game of the season.
