Tottenham have reportedly turned to THREE different Chelsea players this month as they look for reinforcements for their squad.
To be forced to go to their local rivals and ask for some players on loan, really must be a sign of the struggling times that Spurs are in.
Ange Postecoglu has an impossible task on his hands, and Spurs have spent money as well. They’ve had some injuries to contend with, and that forced them to turn to Chelsea to ask about loaning one of three different Blues players this month.
However, none of the moves materialised for whatever reason.
This is according to CaughtOffside today, who report that Spurs looked at Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile and as well as their midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as potential stopgaps – but they did not manage to get them.
Blues defender Axel Disasi was briefly seen as a solution for Spurs’ defensive issues earlier this month, with Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero both sidelined. However, with the duo expected back soon, the club got cold feet and pulled the plug on the idea.

Mathys Tel is not keen on joining Chelsea from Bayern Munich this window due to the fact that he does not see Stamford Bridge as a good destination for his development.
Chelsea could sell defender Axel Disasi to Aston Villa if the latest rumours are anything to go by.
David Ornstein of The Athletic has confirmed Chelsea have made contact to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United this window, although he does not sound sure that anything more will happen on that one. However, he also states that he expects Chelsea to be busy this week and on deadline day!
