An exclusive report has claimed that Chelsea have now made some big changes to their January transfer plans with less than two weeks remaining in the window.

We have all been reading and hearing about Chelsea’s plans over the last few weeks and some of the deals that they want to try and do.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea back in for Jhon Duran this month!!

One completely random one that died a death pretty much right away was interest in Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo. As I say, that one didn’t really go anywhere, or at least it hasn’t gone anywhere yet – I guess it might still go somewhere either now or in the summer.

And then there was another story that had a bit more legs and started to gather some pace, but has since gone dead as well.

That is Chelsea’s interest in re-signing Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, something that they looked to try and do this window. However, it now looks like they will be waiting until the summer to do that one as well.

Guehi interest shelved

Marc Guehi playing for Crystal Palace.

An exclusive from TBR Football reports that Chelsea are prepared to wait until the summer to re-sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace.

Chelsea had still been considering doing a deal for Guehi this month, but he is apparently not in a hurry to make the move.

Chelsea also know that Palace have to sell in the summer. Guehi remains one of the club’s top targets, and Enzo Maresca is allegedly planning to re-work his central defensive department by next season, per the report.

I can see this one sparking back up because Chelsea will see a chance to sign him for a reasonable fee with his contract running down.
