Florentino Luis is set to leave Benfica and is very close to Burnley.
As was first reported by Gianluigi Longari, negotiations for the midfielder, born in 1999, have entered a decisive stage and the chance of his future lying in England are rapidly increasing.
Florentino Luis had been linked with other clubs, in Italy too with Roma, but Burnley are now taking the decisive steps.

Florentino Luis first joined Benfica’s youth academy at the age of 11 in 2010, where he spent eight years rising through the ranks before his senior debut in 2019.
He played a few games for the following two seasons but failed to truly break into the starting eleven. In 2020-21 he spent a year on loan with Monaco before another loan spell with Getafe the following season.
It was after this spell that Luis came back to Benfica and made an impact on the first team, playing nearly 200 times for the Portuguese side in the last three seasons.
