It is vital to watch young talents ahead of the mercato as it is to watch senior players, and AC Milan are lining up a move for an Eredivisie gem.
Despite the need to impact the first team situation, Milan also have a focus on improving their squad moving forward, and the way to do that is via young talent. Something which the Rossoneri are looking to actively invest in with the Milan Futuro set-up now in place.
Of course, there are some good players within the system already, and the Diavolo have already brought in a young star from the Netherlands in Silvano Vos and it seems they will move for another star in the making in the summer.
According to Marco Palma, a scout, the Rossoneri have taken a liking to Zepiqueno Redmond of Feyenoord, as he told TMW Radio this afternoon, and Milan News have relayed his take on the situation.
“Dutch centre-forward for Feyenoord. Star of the Under 21 team with whom he had very high scoring averages. Physical centre-forward, very good basic technique, opportunist in front of goal and also gifted with excellent speed.
“Very mobile on the attacking front, he communicates with his teammates and makes excellent lay-offs. He has a very powerful and precise shot from outside. His performances have brought him up to the first team group with whom he made his debut in the Eredivise and in the Champions League.
“With his contract expiring on 30 June, Milan are looking for an agreement with the player to make an excellent signing on a free transfer.”
It is also worth noting that the report compares him to Victor Boniface, so it would certainly be a different mould of striker than what is already at the club.
