Henrikh Mkhitaryan will miss this weekend’s Serie A clash between Torino and Inter Milan due to muscular fatigue.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan started in Tuesday’s Champions League semifinal second leg against Barcelona.
And the 36-year-old certainly put in a shift i midfield.
As is so often the case, Mkhitaryan was one of the Inter players to cover the most ground while he was on the pitch.
Moreover, the former Arsenal and Roma midfielder had to help out defensively against talismanic Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan came off as a substitute late in the second half.

And according to Sky, Mkhitaryan’s tireless performance did come at a cost physically.
The broadcaster report that the Armenian has suffered a muscle problem.
Therefore, Sky report, Mkhitaryan did not participate in today’s training session with the rest of the squad. Rather, he worked individually to recuperate after Tuesday’s match.
The reason for this was a strain in the midfielder’s right thigh.
Accordingly, the broadcaster anticipate, Mkhitaryan will miss Inter’s next match.
