Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu will be licking his lips at the prospect of facing Torino tomorrow given his record against them.

Nevertheless, the style of play has remained broadly the same for the Piedmontese side.

Inter have certainly felt the pressure when they have faced Torino.

However, over the last couple of seasons, Inter have beaten Torino both home and away.

Hakan Calhanoglu Licking His Lips Ahead Of Another Torino Match

Perhaps the thing that has made the difference for Inter against Torino has been individual quality.

Last season’s second meeting between the two teams was certainly a testament to that.

Inter midfielder Calhanoglu scored twice in that match, a 2-0 victory.

The Turkish international had an excellent strike in open play. Then, he demonstrated why he is one of the most clinical penalty-takers in Europe to dispatch a spot kick.

Moreover, Calhanoglu had also scored in the reverse fixture.

The 30-year-old is not necessarily the most prolific player in Inter’s squad. He is, however, certainly clinical from the penalty spot.

But against Torino, Calhanoglu has made a real habit of finding the back of the net.

The Turk had previously scored twice against Torino when he was with Inter’s city rivals AC Milan.

And Calhanoglu will be relishing another go at one of his favourite opponents tomorrow.

Torino will certainly make it a battle. But there is little doubt that Calhanoglu will be up for it.
