Everton welcome West Ham to Goodison Park this afternoon as David Moyes takes on his old employers.
Everton are unbeaten in eight games under Moyes’s management, their longest run in the Premier League in eight years. The Toffees’ terrific form has taken them comfortably clear of the relegation places, ahead of a clash with a West Ham side who sit behind them in the table only on goal difference.
Moyes will be hoping his team can end a frustrating run of four draws from five games. Everton led in three of those contents but were unable to take maximum points.
West Ham have endured a challenging campaign since Moyes’s exit last summer. The Scot’s replacement, Julen Lopetegui, was sacked in January with Graham Potter brought in. It’s been a mixed start for the former Chelsea boss with three wins from eight league games.
Armando Broja could make his return to the matchday squad today. The Albanian has endured an injury nightmare at Everton but his return could help ease the burden on Beto in attack.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin remains out but is edging closer to a return, while knee injury victims Iliman Ndiaye, Orel Mangala and Dwight McNeil remain out.
Everton predicted XI: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Gueye, Garner; Lindstrom, Doucoure, Harrison; Beto.
Everton host West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday 15th March 2025. Kick-off at Goodison Park is 15:00 GMT.
