Everton have reached an agreement to sign Fulham full-back Kenny Tete when his contract expires next week.
The Toffees have agreed a three-year contract with the Dutch international, who will become a free agent on July 1st. Tete will become Everton’s second signing of the summer, after Charly Alcaraz’s loan move from Flamengo was made permanent.
He will add depth to the club’s options at right-back, with Seamus Coleman yet to sign an extension and Nathan Patterson struggling with fitness issues during his time with the Blues.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the formalities of the transfer will be completed next week. Tete’s arrival will be a big boost to Everton who face a major rebuild this summer.
Ashley Young and Abdoulaye Doucoure have already confirmed their departures, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Michael Keane are also out of contract.
Elsewhere, back-up goalkeepers Asmir Begovic and Joao Virginia have moved on and loanees Jack Harrison, Jesper Lindstrom, Orel Mangala and Armando Broja have returned to their parent clubs.
