Transferred this summer from Bayern Munich to Everton, Adam Aznou has yet to play a single match for the Toffees.

While some sources had hinted at a possible return against Wolverhampton this Saturday, August 30, 2025, on Premier League Matchday 3, the Moroccan will still have to wait for his much-anticipated debut.

David Moyes provided an update on his 19-year-old player in the pre-match press conference: “Adam still has a slight ankle issue. He’s back in training, but we just need to monitor him and see where he’s at.”

The Atlas Lion (3 caps) is understandably not on Walid Regragui’s squad list for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Niger (September 5) and Zambia (September 8).
