Both players joined the club four years ago and went on to win three Bundesliga titles, the FIFA Club World Cup and the German Supercup.

“I’d like to thank FC Bayern for a wonderful and successful time. It was a dream to have played for this great club. I always gave everything for the team and our outstanding fans,” said Choupo-Moting, who registered 38 goals and 13 assists in 122 matches.

Sarr, who made 33 competitive appearances registering one goal and four assists, also echoed the same sentiment to the club and fans.

“I’m happy to have been part of this great club and the FC Bayern family for four years,” he said.

“I would like to thank the entire club and its fantastic fans for their support. I wish FC Bayern all the best for the future. I will always carry this club in my heart.”

Sarr also won the 2022 African Cup of Nations with Senegal during his time at Bayern.
