England Women have revealed details of their first Wembley fixture to take place following their Euro 2025 triumph.
After successfully defending their European Championship trophy, the Lionesses will turn their attentions to qualifying for the 2027 Women’s World Cup.
However, qualification for the tournament does not start until February 2026, with the draw later this year.
The Lionesses though will be in action in November at Wembley Stadium. This is the first planned fixture for the Lionesses since lifting the Euro 2025 trophy.
Following their success at Euro 2025, the Lionesses have already been priced as second-favourites to win Euro 2029 with UK betting websites at odds of 3/1.
England Women will welcome China, the champions of Asia, to Wembley Stadium for their first fixture after winning Euro 2025.
The game will take place on Sunday, November 29th, and it will be the third time the Lionesses have played at Wembley this year.
Lionesses boss Wiegman said: “After an incredible month and the celebrations this week, we are already planning ahead.
“It will be special to have a final visit to Wembley this year and something for us all to look forward to once the new season starts.
“Even though we have just finished the Euro, our World Cup qualifiers are not too far away. There are not many opportunities for us to play non-European opposition in the calendar, so I am happy we have been able to secure a top Asian side like China for this FIFA window.
“I’m sure China will give us a very different game to what we experienced in Australia. Whenever we face a squad where most of the players are based away from Europe or the United States, it is a new challenge.
“With the start of the qualification campaign soon approaching, this will be valuable experience with the 2027 World Cup in mind.”
This means England fans will have to wait just under four months to see the Lionesses in action.
Thousands of England fans saw the Lionesses in person at the trophy parade in London to celebrate their Euro 2025 success.
In the announcement, it was revealed that ‘My England Football’ members can purchase tickets for England vs China between Friday, August 1st and Sunday, August 3rd.
Tickets will then go on general sale on Monday, August 4th.
‘My England Football’ is a free-to-join rewards programme which offers priority access to senior England women’s and men’s home fixtures.
It also offers experiences such as being a match-day mascot, meet England players and more.
