She has gone on to score six goals in 42 appearances – five of which came during the 2024-25 season.

It comes as good news for Liverpool Women who have lost some big names this summer, including Olivia Smith for a record £1m fee to Arsenal.

Enderby has made 29 appearances across England’s youth ranks since 2021, and will hope to break into the senior Lionesses squad in the coming years.

After their Euro 2025 triumph, UK betting websites have priced the Lionesses as 3/1 second favourites to win the tournament again in 2029.

What Mia Enderby said after signing new contract with Liverpool

Mia Enderby signs her new contract with Liverpool ahead of her third season at the Women’s Super League club.

The 20-year-old is excited to get the season underway after committing her future to the club.

She said: “I’ve been here for a couple of years now and I just can’t wait to get started [in 2025-26]. Pre-season is going well and we just can’t wait to get going.

“Off the pitch we’re a big family. It’s really important to have a bond with the players because obviously that helps us on the pitch as well. We just can’t wait to get started now.”

During her time at Liverpool, she won the club’s goal of the season award for a brilliant solo goal against Manchester United in her first year at the club.

Last December, Enderby was named the club’s Player of the Month for the first time.

She now believes she has come to grips with the WSL and is hoping for an even better season in 2025-26.

She said: “I feel like at first it (the WSL) was hard, coming in as a young player and with how big the WSL is now. I feel like I try my best.

“When I’m coming off the bench, I try to help the team as much as I can. That is by providing goals and assists.”

Who have Liverpool signed this summer?

Liverpool Women have signed four players this summer, including Sam Kerr who was on loan from Bayern Munich last season.

The Reds have also signed goalkeeper Rafaela Borggrafe, Rangers midfielder Kirsty Maclean, and Lily Woodham from Seattle Reign.

As well as losing Olivia Smith to Arsenal, the Reds also go into the season without Taylor Hinds who joined the Gunners on a free transfer.

When does the 2025-26 season start?

Liverpool will start the season against Everton on Sunday, September 7th.

They are one of a number of teams who have confirmed their pre-season friendly fixture line-up for the next month.

The Reds will face Aston Villa, Durham and Manchester United, as they prepare for the new season.
