Aston Villa boss Unai Emery hailed Jhon Duran after the striker scored again off the bench to hand his side a memorable Champions League win over German giants Bayern Munich.
Duran was introduced as a second-half substitute and gave Villa a 1-0 win with an incredible strike to make it six points from six in the Champions League.
The 20-year-old has now scored four goals in six matches this season despite being used largely as an impact sub and speaking after the game, Emery said: “He (Duran) arrived two years ago, he has huge potential, sometimes passion.
“Sometimes I need to speak with him as a person and connect with him and as a player to let him play and put him on the field because his talent is there and his capacity to improve us.
“We have two very good strikers and the challenge is to manage both.”
Emery also revealed Duran’s goal was down to the preparation he and his side had done before the game, adding: “This is the talent that some players have and when Jhon Duran has the ball he is scoring quick.
“In the analysis we had of them, we were speaking of how usually the position of Neuer is always high.”
