El Salvador, Puerto Rico seek berth in the Final Round

MIAMI – El Salvador and Puerto Rico will seek to keep their World Cup hopes alive as the Second Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 concludes on Tuesday with matches in Groups E and F.
The Road to the 2026 continues for Concacaf nations with the final encounters of the Second Round during the June 2025 match window. The group winners and runners-up will progress to the Third and Final Round.
Group E
Dominican Republic vs. Dominica
The Dominican Republic hosts Dominica in Group E at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Both nations will seek to conclude their campaigns with a victory. The two nations have collected three points, with the Dominican Republic third in the group on goal difference and Dominica in fourth.
Dorny Romero leads the Dominican Republic in scoring with three goals. Troy Jules and Audel Laville lead Dominica with two goals each.
Jamaica vs. Guatemala
Jamaica hosts Guatemala in Group E at Independence Park in Kingston, Jamaica.
The two nations have secured their place in the Final Round and meet to decide first place in the group. Each with nine points, Guatemala leads the group on goal difference but the Reggae Boyz will seek to ride its home field to victory.
Oscar Santis is coming off a hat-trick performance in Guatemala’s 4-2 win against the Dominican Republic on Friday. Warner Brown struck the lone goal in Jamaica’s win at the British Virgin Islands last Saturday.
Group F
Puerto Rico vs. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Puerto Rico host Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in Group F at Estadio Centroamericano de Mayagüez in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
Entering as the third-place team with four points, Puerto Rico needs a victory to keep alive its chances to advance. The full three points and a Suriname victory would send El Huracán Azul to the Final Round.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines seeks to conclude its qualification campaign with a victory. The Vincy Heat earned a 6-nil win against Anguilla with a brace from Oalex Anderson last Wednesday.
El Salvador vs. Suriname
El Salvador hosts Suriname in Group F at Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador, El Salvador.
First place in the group is on the line, with Suriname needing only a draw to seal the top spot. Suriname has assured a top two finish thanks to a 1-nil win against Puerto Rico on Friday.
El Salvador needs at least a draw to secure its place in the Final Round. La Selecta earned a 3-nil win at Anguilla with goals from Santos Ortíz, Brayan Gil, and Elvin Alvarado.
