Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has made it clear he’s not going anywhere, despite recent speculation suggesting otherwise.
Speaking while in the United States for the Club World Cup, the Brazilian shot-stopper rubbished talk of a move away.
"My future is here,” he said. "My friends send me a lot of news, but 99% is fake news. You need the news to get likes on social media, but there are a lot of fake news about my name. My head is here. I’m fully focused on City. It gives me everything to go back to the Premier League again and try to win the Champions League as well."
Ederson, who joined City back in the 2017/18 season, has clocked up 370 appearances so far. He’s won the Premier League six times and holds the record for the most assists by a goalkeeper in league history. He’s also lifted both the Champions League and Club World Cup with the team.
