Despite a near perfect April 2025 it looks not to be.

No Premier League team in April has won more than the five games that Eddie Howe and/or Jason Tindall have overseen.

However, the April 2025 Premier League Manager of The Month is surely going to be Vitor Pereira.

Wolves have also won five Premier League matches this month but they have been their only PL fixtures.

Wolves winning in April against West Ham 1-0 (H), 2-1 against Ipswich (A), 4-2 vs Spurs (H), 1-0 against Man U (A) and 3-0 at home to Leicester on Saturday.

It gets even better, as Wolves have actually won six in a row (2-1 at Southampton), when you include their final game in March, so it is 18 points from their last six PL matches, compared to 23 points from their opening 28 PL games.

I am assuming that Eddie Howe (and Jason Tindall) will be one of the official nominations, along with Vitor Pereira.

Elsewhere, other nominations could be Pep Guardiola (Man City won four and drew one of their five PL games in April. Whilst Arne Slot and Liverpool won four and lost one in their five PL matches this month, with Unai Emery and Villa doing the same.
