Talk about making an impact?
After not getting any minutes in the 2-0 win against Albania, Eberechi Eze took just 15 against Latvia to show Thomas Tuchel why he should be a key part of his plans with England.
The Crystal Palace magician cut in from the left with some brilliant dribbling before finishing with the aid of a deflection for his first international goal on his 10th cap.
He also rather amazingly became just the second Eagles player to score for England, joining Peter Taylor, who scored his two goals way back in 1976 and later gave David Beckham the captain's armband while in caretaker charge of 2000.
What a moment for Eze and Palace. Maybe Marc Guéhi or Adam Wharton will become the third man soon!
