Early Drama at Etihad: Aït Nouri Injured vs Tottenham

Manchester City suffered blow in their Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur as Algerian full back Rayan Ait Nouri was forced off with injury just 22 minute into the match at the Etihad.

Early setback for Guardiola

Ait Nouri went down following heavy challenge with Spurs Ghanaian attacker Mohammed Kudus. Although he tried to continue, the left back was unable to carry on and left the pitch minutes later.

Nathan Ake steps in

Pep Guardiola turned to Nathan Ake who replaced Ait Nouri at left back for the remainder of the 1st half. The change disrupted City’s rhythm in high intensity clash against one of their main top 4 rivals.
