Artem Dovbyk’s future may lie far from Roma.
Following Romelu Lukaku’s injury, which will keep the Belgian striker out for approximately three months, Napoli is seeking an offensive reinforcement.
If the deal for Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund doesn’t materialize, the Azzurri’s attention could shift to the Giallorossi center forward.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Dovbyk has already agreed to the transfer.
Roma, for their part, is not closing the door on a sale, aware that the striker would risk limited playing time under Gasperini.
The main sticking point in the negotiations remains the formula.
Napoli is reportedly leaning toward a €5-6 million loan with an option to buy, while Roma, bound by UEFA Financial Fair Play restrictions, would prefer a permanent transfer to cash in immediately and settle their accounts.
