Borussia Dortmund are in the market for a left-back and a box-to-box midfielder, according to Sky Germany.
BVB coach Nuri Sahin expressed his desire to sign a left-back last summer, but the club's top target at the time, Ferdi Kadiouglu, joined Brighton & Hove Albion instead.
According to Sky, the Black and Yellows are specifically looking for a left-back who, like Ramy Bensebaini, can help out in the centre of defence if required, but the report doesn't mention any specific names.
As mentioned, Dortmund are also looking for a dynamic midfielder and Sunderland's Jobe Bellingham, the brother of former BVB midfielder Jude Bellingham, is said to be a candidate. The English Championship side are said to be willing to listen to offers starting at €25 million for the 19-year-old.
Manchester City's James McAtee is another option. According to Sky, talks have taken place between Dortmund and the player's camp, but a transfer is far from imminent.
Petar Sucic, Martin Baturina (both playing for Dinamo Zagreb) and Red Star Belgrade's Andrija Maksimovic are other possibilities with a similar profile.
Finally, Dortmund could look to bring in a replacement for Donyell Malen if the Dutch winger decides to join Aston Villa.
Whether Dortmund will move to strengthen in any of the aforementioned positions this window or have to wait until the summer will depend on the market.
