Martin Baturina is on the verge of being unveiled as a new Como player after signing his contracts with Cesc Fabregas’s side on Saturday, ahead of an official announcement from the ambitious Serie A club.
Baturina is set to become Como’s first signing of the summer transfer window, having put pen to paper on a five-year contract that will run until the summer of 2030.
The deal is set to cost Como a total of €25m, made up of an €18m fixed fee and up to €7m in bonuses and add-ons.

Outlets in Italy suggest that Baturina’s signing is in preparation for the likely departure of Nico Paz, who can and is increasingly likely to be brought back to Real Madrid through a buy-back clause in his current contract.
Like Nico Paz, Baturina also typically plays in a central role in the attacking unit, behind the centre-forward.
The 22-year-old netted six goals and provided 12 assists from 40 competitive appearances with Dinamo Zagreb in 2024-25.
