Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Petar Sucic is getting closer and closer to a move to Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter have been working to try and sign Croatian international midfielder Petar Sucic.

Sucic is a player who the Nerazzurri have identified as a potential future starter in midfield.

Inter are aiming to make Sucic a long-term successor to Hakan Calhanoglu in midfield, reportedly. This as Kristjan Asllani is yet to fully convince the Nerazzurri in this respect.

Inter and Dinamo have reportedly been in talks for a couple weeks now regarding Sucic.

The Nerazzurri have made their interest in the 22-year-old midfielder clear.

There is still no agreement between the clubs. But they are on the right track, as Inter are ready to meet Dinamo’s asking price.

And for his part, Sucic is keen on the move.

Petar Sucic is a player who Inter believe can become their starting holding midfielder in the long term.

The Croat has dealt with some injury struggles this season.

But even so, Sucic has certainly had his impact in the Champions League this campaign for Dinamo.
