Di Marzio: Milan in talks with Chelsea over loan with option deal for midfielder | OneFootball

Carney Chukwuemeka has ended up on the radar of AC Milan and talks are currently ongoing with Chelsea, a report claims. The Rossoneri are eyeing a loan move and given the good relations, they could succeed.

Milan have been on good terms with Chelsea for several years now, signing the likes of Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic and Olivier Giroud. Therefore, it’s not exactly surprising that the Rossoneri are interested in yet another Stamford Bridge player.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Chukwuemeka could be the next player to make the move as the clubs are discussing a loan deal. There would be an option to buy in favour of Milan, although it remains to be seen if Chelsea will accept this.

It’s not the first time that the midfielder has been linked with the Rossoneri, having been on their radar for several years now. At the age of 20, he certainly has huge potential and especially on a loan, it would be a very good signing.

The only question mark could be where Chukwuemeka will play, as Milan already have Loftus-Cheek for the attacking midfield role. If anything, they need a defensive midfielder to provide the balance that was lacking last season.
