Inter Milan are just a couple weeks away from the start of the summer transfer window.

The Nerazzurri will have a ten-day window at the start of June. This will be to reinforce their squad for the Club World Cup this summer.

Then, there will be the opening of the regular European transfer window in July.

According to Sky transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, this will be a fairly busy summer for Inter.

It will not be quite like the summer of 2023. That window saw the Nerazzurri make an eye-watering twelve signings, whilst an equivalent number of players left.

However, nor will Inter have a summer window nearly as quiet as last time out.

Rather, Di Marzio reports, the Nerazzurri are planning to strengthen their squad in the transfer window.

That will mean skewing younger. Inter’s squad currently has a very high average age, and bringing that down is a major priority.

Moreover, reports Di Marzio, Inter owners Oaktree Capital are ready to invest big in signings.

Therefore, there should be a number of high-profile deals for big fees.

First of all, Inter have already wrapped up a deal to bring in midfielder Petar Sucic from Dinamo Zagreb at the end of June.

The Croat will be part of Inter’s squad for the Club World Cup.

However, Di Marzio anticipates that there will be at least four or five more big signings in addition to Sucic.

Firstly, Inter are pushing to get a deal for Marseille winger Luis Henrique over the line.

Then, the Nerazzurri are also targeting both a central defender and a striker. Di Marzio reports that Inter are eyeing up Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny for the attack.
