Yacine Adli is closing in on getting a move away from AC Milan after agreeing to join Fiorentina, according to a report.

Adli has been linked with an exit all summer given that he does not appear to be a part of Paulo Fonseca’s plans, after not being called up for the first two league games of the season.

A report from MilanNews journalist Pietro Mazzara yesterday claimed that Fiorentina are in talks with the Rossoneri management about a loan move with an obligation to buy for Adli, which would be set around €13-16m.

According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, Adli has given the green light to join Fiorentina. The 23-year-old will undergo a medical soon ahead of joining La Viola, with the two clubs having already reached an agreement in principle.

It has been a difficult few weeks for Adli because if it were up to him he would stay and fight for a spot, but he risks not having the chance to because of the squad list regulations and because Fonseca appears adamant that he will not use him.

In recent weeks, several intermediaries have knocked on Milan’s door to ask about Adli’s situation, with a number of different Premier League and Ligue 1 clubs linked.
