Bournemouth are unbeaten in three meetings with Crystal Palace, ending a run of five successive visits to Selhurst without a victory last season.

Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth Preview

Fair to say, it's been a week to forget for Crystal Palace, so can they get back to winning ways? The Eagles were demolished 5-0 at St James' Park on Wednesday, with Eberechi Eze missing a penalty, one of the worst you're ever likely to see, and Marc Guéhi scoring an own goal on a very miserable night. Four days earlier, having been 2-0 up inside 20 minutes, Oliver Glasner's side were also steamrollered 5-2 by Manchester City at the Etihad.

So, this is the first time since February 1935 that Palace have shipped 5+ in successive matches, only the ninth club to endure this in the Premier League-era. The Eagles remain 12th, but this could shatter their confidence ahead of next Saturday's FA Cup semi-final against Aston Villa. So, with that huge trip to Wembley on the horizon, can the Eagles boost morale with a win?

As for Bournemouth, they've had a rather more enjoyable week, beating Fulham 1-0 on Monday night, with Antoine Semenyo the night's only scorer, coming after just 53 seconds. So, despite being winless in five beforehand, Andoni Iraola's side are back up to eighth, thereby occupying the final potential European position. The Cherries' next four fixtures are against Man United, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Man City so, if they are going to get into UEFA competition for the first time ever, three points at Selhurst on Saturday would really help their cause.

Crystal Palace Team News

Oliver Glasner's lineups have been largely settled all throughout this season but, considering their mid-week mauling on Tyneside, it'll be interesting to see if he makes changes. Adam Wharton will be hoping to return to midfield, while Jean-Philippe Mateta was replaced by Eddie Nketiah after 56 minutes on Wednesday, but that was probably with this game in mind.

Crystal Palace predicted lineup vs Bournemouth: (3-4-2-1): Henderson; Richards, Guéhi, Lacroix; Muñoz, Wharton, Lerma, Mitchell; Sarr, Eze, Mateta.

Crystal Palace Player to Watch vs Bournemouth

Jean-Philippe Mateta has 16 goals to his name this season, although he's never scored in four meetings with Bournemouth, seeking to change that fact.

Bournemouth Team News

Andoni Iraola has had an extra 48 hours to prepare for this one, so will that prove to be an advantage? Ryan Christie, Luis Sinisterra and Enes Ünal remain sidelined, while centre-backs Marcos Senesi and Ilya Zabarnyi did a half each against Fulham, so it'll be intersting to see who gets the nod. Antoine Semenyo is one yellow card away from a two-match suspension.
