Crystal Palace have been relegated from the UEFA Europa League to the UEFA Europa Conference League due to multi-club rules.
The Eagles earned their spot in Europe's second competition after a historic FA Cup win over Manchester City at Wembley thanks to Eberechi Eze's winner.
This ban is due to John Textor's stake in Lyon, who survived being relegated to Ligue 2 and leaving the Europa League due to financial issues after winning an appeal.
That decision has had a knock-on effect which now sees Palace competing in the Conference League.
In a statement, UEFA confirmed that the governing body has decided to: "Accept Olympique Lyonnais’ admission to the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League; and... To reject Crystal Palace’s admission to the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League and to accept Crystal Palace’s admission to the 2025/26 UEFA Conference League."
Palace can still appeal the decision with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
