Cremonese set to welcome another Premier League signing after Vardy

Cremonese, who have a deal in place to sign free agent Jamie Vardy, are set to welcome another Premier League talent through the door before the end of the summer transfer window, as they also have an agreement for Jeremy Sarmiento from Brighton and Hove Albion.
As reported on Sunday morning, Cremonese have an agreement in place to sign Vardy on a free transfer, with a one-year contract with an option to extend ready for the Englishman to sign once he arrives in Italy on Sunday evening.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cremonese also have a deal in place to sign Ecuador international Sarmiento from Brighton. They are set to sign the 23-year-old on loan according to the latest updates.

Sarmiento, who came through the youth academy at Charlton Athletic, similarly to Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman, has spent the last three seasons out on loan moves away from Brighton. All three of those have been in the EFL Championship with West Brom, Ipswich and most recently Burnley.
He has been part of promotion-winning squads for the last two seasons.
Sarmiento is expected to travel over to Italy for his medical on deadline day, which falls on Monday, September 1.
