Coventry City have confirmed the appointment of Frank Lampard as their new head coach.
The former England midfielder succeeds Mark Robins, who was deposed earlier this month after seven years at the helm, on a two-and-a-half year contract.
Lampard cut his managerial teeth in the Championship with Derby County, who he guided to a play-off final appearance in 2019, before spells at Chelsea and Everton.
The 46-year-old has been away from coaching since his interim return to Stamford Bridge ended in May 2023.
The Sky Blues sit 17th in the Championship, just one point outside the relegation zone ahead of Lampard's first game at home to Sheffield United.
