Tottenham Hotspur have been warned by David James that Ange Postecoglou’s links to the Liverpool job may have an effect on the players.
As we come towards the business end of the 2023/24 campaign, Spurs find themselves right in the mix for a spot in next season’s Champions League.
But there may be some concerns that external rumours surrounding Ange Postecoglou may well be having an impact on his players.

There have been some recent reports suggesting the Australian could be in the frame to potentially replace Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
Tottenham were on the end of a disappointing defeat on the weekend against Wolves where the Lilywhites did not look to be singing off the same sheet.
And as the battle for fourth spot really begins to heat up with Aston Villa and Manchester United, the former Premier League goalkeeper, James, has weighed in with his thoughts.
Speaking to GGRecon, James shared his concerns about the links over Postecoglou’s future: ‘Tottenham are playing better football this season under Ange Postecoglou, however what’s interesting with Ange is that he’s being linked with the Liverpool job already and that could be disturbing for some of the Spurs players,’ he said.

Although the performances over recent weeks may have left some concerned, it has been a hugely exciting start to life under the Australian.
With Heung-min Son firing and the likes of James Maddison and Micky van de Ven looking like players who can take us forward in the future, it looks very promising.
Many would have had Spurs finishing well adrift of the Champions League places this season after all of the changes which occurred over the summer.
Losing Harry Kane was probably enough for some to think Spurs would take a major step back this term, but that has not been the case.
There is still a lot of football to be played out this season and Spurs could still raise a lot of eyebrows if they are to finish inside the top four.
However, it has to be said, even landing Europa League may surpass the expectations of many around the league.
