Tottenham Hotspur could be entering a decisive day as they look to bring in an attacking player that boss Ange Postecoglou has already talked to about heading to north London.
Postecoglou is being backed by Spurs in this month’s transfer window amid a spate of injuries which has seen his defensive options severely reduced.
The club signed goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky earlier this month and handed him his debut in last night’s 1-0 win over Liverpool in the EFL Cup.
Tottenham are not stopping at Kinsky and are firmly in the mix to land attacker Randal Kolo Muani, who Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to let move on if the deal is right.
A possible loan deal with a €60m option to buy is on the table and, according to Italian outlet Tutto Juve, it ‘could be a decisive day’ in Spurs’ swoop.
Postecoglou ‘has already talked’ to Kolo Muani to help to sell the switch.
Tottenham have accelerated their efforts to sign the PSG star in the last 48 hours to avoid competition from major suitors in the form of Manchester United and Juventus.
Spurs are working on a loan deal with an option to buy Muani permanently and the player could make his decision on his future today.
While Tottenham are eager to finish the deal, it remains to be seen whether Manchester United or Juventus will emerge to hijack the move.
