The winner of the Player of the Season award at La Liga giants Real Madrid has this week been confirmed.

The player recognised for his efforts over the course of 2024/25? Kylian Mbappé.

Frontman Mbappé is for his part of course in the midst of what has been a hugely productive debut campaign in Spain’s capital.

After a shaky start to life in the colours of Real Madrid following his long-awaited free agent arrival from Paris Saint-Germain, the France international has since rediscovered some of his very best form.

All told, despite the collective struggles of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, Mbappé has racked up 41 goals across all competitions.

And such exploits in front of goal have evidently not gone unappreciated on the part of fans of his new club.

This comes amid confirmation on Thursday evening that the 26-year-old, in his first year in Spain, has been named Real Madrid’s official Player of the Season:
