Como sporting director Carlalberto Ludi acknowledged that ‘something interesting could develop’ concerning Dele Alli, who was spotted in the stands during Cesc Fabregas’ team’s 2-0 victory over Roma last weekend.
The team’s coach and recent reports suggested the former England international is set to start training with the Biancoazzurri on boxing day to return to fitness, sparking rumours this could be the prelude to signing a deal with the club.

While Fabregas said he didn’t want to talk much about the topic, Ludi conceded that everyone would be interested in securing Dele Alli’s services in ‘ideal conditions’, adding that the former Barcelona midfielder likes him ‘a lot’.
“In ideal conditions, he’s of interest to everyone,” Ludi told TMW Radio.
“We have an excellent relationship with his agent, and something interesting could develop, but we can’t know for sure yet.
“We need a few weeks, including time to get to know each other, and then we’ll make the best decision. A percentage? It’s too early to say. We’ll go through a period of training and mutual understanding, but Fabregas likes him a lot.”
Ludi also ruled out the chance of Nico Paz’s departure in January, claiming that ‘nobody has made a move’ for the former Real Madrid starlet despite his impressive displays in recent months were said to have attracted interest from clubs in Serie A and abroad.

“Nobody has made a move, at least as far as I know directly,” the director continued.
“But there’s no chance he’ll leave in January. He’s a pure talent, always ready to contribute to the team.”
Paz scored his second Serie A goal against Roma to wrap up his side’s third league win of the season, which allowed them to leave the bottom three.
