Como are ready to make an offer to Real Madrid to try and keep hold of Inter Milan target Nico Paz.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that the Lariani could offer €15 million to buy out Los Blancos’ buyback clause on the Argentine.
At the moment, Paz is a Como player. The Lombard signed the Argentine on a permanent basis from Real Madrid last summer.
However, there is a bit of a hitch. Real retain a buyback clause, which would allow them to bring Nico Paz back next summer.
Paz’s form has been outstanding this season.
The 20-year-old has been Como’s key man in midfield. He has had no trouble adjusting to life in Serie A.

But there is a bit of a downside to this for Como.
With Real’s buyback clause in effect, it could be tough for the Lariani to avoid losing Paz next summer. Whether that is because Real want to keep the Argentine, or sell him for a profit.
Inter in particular see Paz as a major target.
However, Como are still determined to retain Nico Paz.
Therefore, reports Sky, the Lariani are getting ready to make an offer to Real Madrid to get rid of the buyback clause.
The broadcaster anticipates that offer will be worth around €15 million.
