Luka Jovic’s contract has proven to be a heavily debated incident this season, and it seems that the debates may continue into next year, as another 12 months at AC Milan is possible.
In the summer, Milan took the option to renew the Serbian’s deal by 12 months, keeping him on a rolling contract as such. However, just weeks later, they tried to part ways with Jovic, in an unprecedented move.
Over the next few months, it was more of the same, with the striker struggling with injuries, and the club wanting to part ways with him. Nevertheless, he remained at the club, and it seems that he may stay another year.
The Rossoneri, according to Calciomercato.com, have already seen one member of the management vote for him stay another season, and it that vote can be traced back to Geoffrey Moncada, who recently met with the player’s agent.
No decision will be made until the summer, and it will be dependent on the new sporting director, so for now, the focus will purely be on scoring goals in this last part of the season.
Despite this, he has already given Milan the priority over his future, even if there is interest from Turkey in his services, it would be his dream to continue with the club.
