Real Betis will push for a deal for Manchester United star Antony until the end of the window and the Spanish league is his preferred destination.
The Brazilian forward had a poor campaign last season and his form has not improved in the ongoing season, despite a managerial change.
Antony has featured for only 84 minutes in the Premier League in the ongoing campaign, starting only two games in all competitions.
It is suggested that Antony is not in Ruben Amorim’s plans and Manchester United will look to move him off their wage bill.
Greek side Olympiacos showed interest in loaning in the Manchester United winger, but the move is unlikely to happen.
La Liga outfit Real Betis have emerged as suitors for Antony’s signature and they are keen on him.
According to Spanish outlet ABC’s Al Final De La Palmera, Real Betis will push to sign Antony from Manchester United until the very end of the January transfer window.
They appreciate that the deal is a difficult one to do due to the finances involved, but are encouraged by the fact that Antony is keen to prioritise playing in La Liga.
Antony has a contract at Manchester United until the summer of 2027.
